RE: Which Voip Service Is Right For Me?

Then who's no. 1? It's Lingo. Read below to understand why.

I put up this awesome guide on Lingo just for you. Don't subscribe this service yet until you've read all I have to say about it. If you wonder whether it really worth your money, read on. If you want to know who give the best VOIP service, read on. And if you want to know how Lingo can help you chat with your friend, read on.

Lingo Review

If you make a lot of overseas call, you will love Lingo. With its low (the cheapest, according to Wired) monthly fee, you will get unlimited calling to the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and more than 20 other countries, including Australia and most of western Europe.

At first, we encountered an annoying echo with overseas connections. We contacted the company for help and then, the problem went away. How about domestic calls? It's superb :)

The online account manager was tidy with no hold time for tech support. If you need a mobile plan, they have one. That plan will allow you to save big bucks when making international calls on your cell phone (you just need to call a designated number to connect with Lingo, then you can make your international call).

My problem with Lingo? You need to play with the cable a little bit before you can call.

Support: 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10
Additional note: Lingo was picked as Wired editor's pick

Skype is used by over 220 million users worldwide, and believed to be the fastest growing VOIP service in the world. Is it that great? Well, not for me.

Skype's call quality is considerably less than Lingo with words occasionally getting clipped. The main interface feels a bit overcrowded, too, though I like how easy to hop between tasks, whether dialing, adding a contact, or using SkypeFind to locate a cafe.

Major headache I'm having with Skype is that voicemail costs $20 a year (for just a voicemail? No thanks), unless you subscribed for SkypeIn number ($60 a year).

If you are impatient, VoiceWing from Verizon is not for you. It was the hardest to configure, having to register the telephone adapter's MAC address twice, clicking through a series of screens while hooking up cords then having to wait for a few minutes for it to be ready. Once you finished setting it up, the call quality was impressive for domestic calls, but it sounds weird on overseas calls.

One big drawback is that the fee covers only the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US territories. The online account manager need some revision too, it's too cluttered for me.

And if you are Verizon Wireless customers, bad news for you, there's no discount for you.

Support: 7/10
Overall: 5/10

Additional note: Thanks to its complex, cumbersome installation process

With all the problems you might face when using VoiceWing, I recommend you not to subscribe to it. It just won't worth your time, money and all the frustrations you'll get trying to install VoiceWing. If you don't want to face all the problems, by all means, try to get Lingo's service.

It is actually the cheapest, yet overdelivers with superb call quality and support team. You can take advantage of Lingo's 30-day money back guarantee just in case you decided to not use it anymore.

As I've stated above, Lingo is not just affordable, the service you'll got is superb as well. Almost crystal clear connections quality, and terrific support team to assist you if you have any problem. If you like to travel or have someone you want to talk without having to spend enormous amount of money, get Lingo now.

Let's see what the client said about Lingo:

"I love Lingo!"

Verizon land line was charging me close to $100 per month for phone service, unlimited (USA)long distance and features....LINGO is about $25 a month for unlimited long distance and features PLUS I can call internationally and it's still only about $25 a month. I'm paying $900 less per year now. I love Lingo!!!
